RETURNS FAQs

No Hassle 30-day return:

We recommend that you keep your boxes in the unlikely event that you will return your chair. Anthros offers a no-questions-asked, 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, including shipping, within the continental United States or $199.99 less for orders in Alaska and Hawaii.  International orders, including Puerto Rico, are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns. * 

*Refund to be issued upon receipt of return and coinciding product inspection. The chair must be returned in like-new condition, or the customer will be charged a fee for associated damage.

 

Before returning we strongly recommend: 

  • Use the chair for at least three weeks to see the full benefit of our science-backed design.
  • Schedule a meeting with one of our posture specialists to ensure proper use of the chair.

  • Try the TILT feature of the chair in three different ways:
    • FULL TILT
    • 6-DEGREE TILT
    • UNLOCKED TILT with tension for rocking.
       
 
If you still wish to request a return after three weeks, contact the Anthros Customer Experience Team to process your return at (940) ANTHROS or email us at hello@anthros.com. The team will discuss any issues or concerns with you and will then issue a return RMA along with a FedEx return label that needs to be attached to the box.

If the product is returned in accordance with this Return Policy, Anthros will credit the original form of payment you used to make the original purchase and any applicable taxes (excluding shipping and handling charges or damage to the chair unless otherwise specified).

If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our Customer Experience Team at hello@anthros.com with your order number and description of the incorrect or damaged order.

To initiate the return, please call the Anthros Customer Experience Team. Be prepared to provide the following information:

  • The order number, is located in your confirmation email.
  • Email and/or first and last name associated with your purchase.
  • The reason you'd like to return your product(s).

 

The returns process after initiation:

  • Provide pictures of your Anthros chair (front, each side, back, underneath) to Customer Experience: hello@anthros.com
  • After your request has been authorized, you will receive your return authorization document and return shipping label. All returns must include the return authorization document inside the return package. We recommend that you hold onto your tracking information, as we are not responsible for lost packages by the carrier. Returns should be boxed and dropped off at the nearest FedEx location.
  • If you wish to have the return picked up at your home location, you can arrange to have FedEx come to get it. Any charges for home pickup are the responsibility of the customer and not Anthros.
  • Once the return is marked as delivered to Anthros, please allow 5 business days for your return to be processed. Additional delays may occur during peak operations. The chair will be inspected by the Anthros team and compared to the pictures taken. You will receive an email confirmation when your return is processed.
  • After we issue the refund, please allow up to 10 business days for it to reflect in your original method of payment. Refunds for returns apply to the purchase price of the item(s) only. We regret that we are unable to refund your original shipping and handling charges unless the return was a result of our error, a qualifying device under Anthros 30-day at-home trial, or subject to the Anthros Limited Warranty. Return requests must be received by Anthros within 30 days of purchase. Only authorized returns will be processed.

Step 1: Remove the upper back

  • Remove the upper back cuff using fingers or a flat, dull knife.
  • Insert the 4mm Allen wrench into the left side of the bolt and hold, while using the nut driver on the right side to remove the nut. Be careful to not scratch the back panel and remove the bolt.
  • Remove the torsion bar.
  • Remove the upper back pad.
  • Place the bolt, nut, torsion bar, and upper back cuff in a baggie.

Step 2: Remove the base from the body of the chair

 
  • Using the 4mm Allen wrench, TIGHTEN (this releases the grip) the bolts on either side of the piston, alternating by turning each bolt 1/2 turn.
  • Pull the piston out of the body of the chair.

Step 3: Boxing the chair

 
  • Place the base of the chair in the smaller box with the protective insert and seal.
  • Place the body of the chair in the larger box.
  • Insert the cardboard divider as shown.
  • Place the upper back pad and bagged components in the smallest box, seal, and place in the large box.
  • Seal the box.

Packing the 4-Spoke Base and 5-Spoke Base

 

If requesting a return past the 30-day warranty window, the same steps as above will be followed and shipping labels will be sent. The following costs will be deducted:

  • $200 restocking fee. 
  • $150 box charge fee for new boxes (if applicable).
  • Return shipping costs.

After 60 days, returns outside of warranty issues will not be accepted.
