By aligning and supporting the pelvis, sacrum, and L4 and L5 regions the low back pelvis support establishes a natural lumbar curve.
UPPER BACK SUPPORT
The upper back supports this alignment by providing balanced support, elongating the spine. This alignment promotes equal disc spacing throughout the spine.
The unique tapered shape of the upper back allows for shoulder freedom of movement. The upper back hinge moves and contours to the body.

The precision posture system adapts to all shapes and sizes, offering a customizable fit.
To achieve this, we used advanced 3D human modeling to validate and refine our two-part back design. After perfecting the design in a virtual environment, we created prototypes and tested them on human subjects of various shapes and sizes to confirm our findings.
DECREASES DISC PRESSURE
The effectiveness of the precision posture system was validated using 3D human modeling, based on the Wilke et al. study, which measured intervertebral pressure in the L4-5 disc using a pressure transducer.
3D human modeling confirmed that disc pressure at L4-5 decreases with a properly adjusted Anthros two-part back system. There was also a significant reduction in L4-5 disc pressure using the Anthros tilt feature.
The Wilke study found that the optimal disc pressure in a neutral standing position is 0.5 MPa. Our precision posture system achieved and even surpassed this optimal value.
